Plant
Engineering Manager
Commerce, CA
In this position, you will manage and direct the activities
of the plant maintenance and engineering function. Provide
planning and scheduling needs for the department and ensure
all safety and environmental requirements are met. This
will include responsibility for ongoing efficient execution
of repairs, improvements and projects, handling PM programs
and standard operating procedures, help the plant to meet
corporate safety objectives, timely completion of plant
engineering projects; provide front line supervision and
maintain a harmonious maintenance team providing education
and growth of mechanical and electrical personnel; handle
spare parts, inventory and procurement; provide knowledge
and expertise to keep plant within environmental compliance;
ability to troubleshoot; provide hands on help as needed
and be a team player and builder. You should have a technical
degree, BSME preferred plus 7-10 years managing a plant
maintenance/engineering group; good analytical and interpersonal
ability; good computer skills required with competency
in maintenance/scheduling/CAD software; technical expertise
in electrical power and control, pneumatics and pneumatic
controls, hydraulics and fluid flow, PLC and electronic
process interface, HVAC, steam boiler operations and mechanical
power transmission. |

Lead

to running processes, will be responsible for work direction,
training, and overseeing night shift crew for 8-hour shift.
Req's ability to lift 50 lbs and move weights greater
than 50 lbs. You should be self-motivated and willing
to work in a hands-on environment. Should have HS diploma
or equivalent with 4 yrs manufacturing leadership exp.
Extrusion or plastic exp a plus. |
Driver

To qualify,
you must have a valid Class A CDL license, excellent driving,
safety and attendance record, with proven experience in
tractor/trailer operations and multiple stop deliveries.
Plus at least one year of truck driving experience is
a must. |
